The boxing champ, Tyson Fury, retained 3 of the 4 belts he won on the night of the 28th of November, however due to homophobic actions lost the IBF belt. Tyson fury was ordered to end his actions and shut up by ex-Boxer David Haye. Lindsey Tucker, championships chairman at the IBF, told BBC Sport: “It’s true he’s been stripped of his IBF belt.”
The match in which Tyson won the titles was held in Dusseldorf, Germany under the circumstances everyone will be on Wladimir Klitschko’s side in the heavyweight match. Both fighters fought very cautiously, very tactically not throwing many power punches. The fight lasted the full 12 rounds, resulting in a points win for Fury. The points finished 116-111, 115-112 and 115-112 all to fury. After his win had been announced and the celebrations had calmed down slightly, Tyson grabbed the microphone and sung into it, rather like how he did in the open training sessions.
Recently, Klitschko has signed the rematch clause which was in the contract for the fight. It is unscheduled but will be sometime during 2016. This clause stated that if Klitschko was defeated then he is allowed to sign this and force upon Tyson a rematch for the belts he had lost during their fight. The Fury camp has stated that they are ready for the rematch believe they are getting the fight held at Wembley.
