YouTube Stars Rise To Fame!

Nowadays, many children and young adults are opting to watch people that create content on the social, visual platform of YouTube.

Stars like Zoella (aka Zoe Sugg) has more than 9.5 million subscribers, mostly made up of teenagers that can relate to her- Zoe suffers from anxiety and has posted videos on how to deal with it and that has helped many people. She is well-known for her beauty videos. Her boyfriend, Alfie Deyes (aka PointlessBlog), is also very popular on YouTube with his hilarious challenges and his “vlogs”, video blogs, over on his second channel, PointlessBlogVlogs. Zoe’s younger brother, Joe Sugg (aka ThatcherJoe) is yet another personality that is very well-liked, with his challenges and his pranks on his South-African roommate, Caspar Lee; he is a YouTuber that does many public videos where he lets the public participate. Even a YouTube boy band was created for Comic Relief and consisted of the members: Joe Sugg, Caspar Lee, Marcus Butler, Alfie Deyes and Jim Chapman.  This is just a tiny proportion of the YouTubers on this creator platform- there a billion active users!

It’s not just all about the views and the subscribers though that makes them the money, YouTubers like Zoe Sugg, Alfie Deyes, Joe Sugg, Louise Pentland, Tanya Burr, Miranda Sings, Connor Franta, Joey Graceffa, Tyler Oakley, Marcus Butler, and many, many more have even written best-selling books.

The most subscribed YouTuber of them all is Pewdiepie (Felix Kjellberg) has more than 40 million subscribers; he is known for his gaming videos and earns more than $7.5 million.

They are becoming more and more popular everyday with their appeal to the audience of teenagers and young adults. With books, beauty products, many appearances on magazines, and even DVDs, YouTubers are rising to fame!

They’ll be the next celebrities of the future!
