With Arsenal claiming the top spot and Chelsea fighting their way back up the table, everyone wants a star signing!
A done, dusted deal in the footballing world is Roma’s Iturbe who has gone to the Barclays Premiere League side AFC Bournemouth for a fee of £10.5 million. The Argentinian right winger is yet to prove himself after only 1 goal in 12 games for AS Roma. Eddie Howe, the Bournemouth manager, is delighted with his ambitious signing. Iturbe’s debut for Bournemouth went very well with a 3-0 win against Norwich.
Alexandre Pato has reached a verbal agreement with Gus Hiddink’s Chelsea side according to Brazilian reports. The Brazilian has played for some big names such as AC Milan and the Corinthians. His pace and his finishing are some of his many attributes and will help the Blues pose more of a threat in the BPL. Chelsea are lacking on their attacking abilities with star striker Diego Costa losing form but with the Brazilian’s international experience they are hoping that they will add the striker to their squad.
Alex Teixeira has been linked to Liverpool for a whopping £24.5 million from Shakhtar Donetsk. After becoming Liverpool’s manager he is looking to find his first major signing. This will improve their attack with Daniel Sturridge’s unexpected injuries throughout the season but with Chelsea looking at a fee of around 39 million they have a tough competition.
