The Great Lowry Flood
On the 26th December 2015, the River Irwell burst its banks which caused flooding in Manchester. Along with all of the water, the flood also brought Manchester its own beach with a large amount of sand and debris.
The video is an interview with one of the people who works at the Lowry hotel, which is situated on the banks of the River Irwell.

The Lowry Hotel After The Floods
The Lowry hotel was badly hit by the floods, but it only took three days to clean up and business was not affected by the floods. However, as usual with events like these, the local press reported quite heavily on the flooding.
