SuperCam MVP

Carolina Panther’s 26 year old quarterback, Cam Newton, won this seasons MVP a day before losing the Super Bowl to now retired Peyton Manning’s Denver Broncos in San Francisco.

In 2011, Cam Newton was the first pick of the NFL draft, chosen by his current club, Carolina Panthers. This season he has had an average passing yards of 239.8 per game, a total of 636 rushing yards and completed around 3837 passing yards in total; gaining the nickname “SuperCam” due to his athletic ability, his incredible jumping talent, and his unique celebration after winning a game, throwing a touchdown or scoring a touchdown himself!

His father, Cecil, allegedly broke the NCAA rules when he asked for enough money so that his son Cameron could attend Blinn College. He has brothers called Caylin and Cecil Jr, and has recently welcomed his first son, Chosen Newton, with his girlfriend, Kia Proctor, back in 2015.

This is his first NFL MVP award, and looking to the future, he will be looking for plenty more in a career that could possibly last another 14 years. Previous to this award he has won trophies such as:
