Avicii, whose real name was Tim Bergling, was found dead on Friday afternoon in a five-star resort in Muscat, Oman. The cause of his death has not yet been announced, but two years ago he announced his retirement after suffering from health problems.
Rita Ora, who had recently collaborated with him on the track Lonely Together, tweeted that she had “no words” after hearing the news.
Radio 1 presenter Annie Mac began her Friday evening show paying tribute to Avicii, saying it’s a “massive loss for dance music” and that it was “absolutely devastating news”.
It’s known that he has been suffering from pancreatitis, reportedly caused by heavy drinking.
“Drinking became routine for me, but it’s impossible to keep up touring and drinking at the same time, because you are going to crash.”
During his career he has achieved 11 billion streams on Spotify and was the first EDM DJ to stage a worldwide arena tour, as nominated for two Grammy Awards and had nine UK top 10 singles, including two number ones.
Nicky Romero, who collaborated with Avicii on I Could Be The One, said:
“He was more of the musician in the studio than the guy that wants to be on stage, tour the world.”
“I never really thought that he was super enjoying his DJ sets. It felt like he wanted to do it but he didn’t want to feel the pressure of it or be the guy that’s in the spotlight in front of thousands and thousands of people.”
Earlier on Saturday morning, police confirmed that suspicions of criminal relevance to Tim Bergling’s demise were false shown by several autopsies.
Also despite his earlier death, fans were touched by his work and he won’t be forgotten as shown by the spirited vigil held in Stockholm where the masses of participants showed that they will lead his legacy onward.

Saturday Night Takeaway will not air this weekend as co-host Ant McPartlin returns to treatment, ITV has said. This is after his arrest on suspicion of drink driving in south-west London on Sunday afternoon.
He was involved in a collision with two other cars while driving his Mini and was arrested at around 4pm after failing a breathalyzer test. A Metropolitan Police spokeswoman said he was “taken to a south London police station for questioning and has since been released under investigation.”
Last year he entered rehab after an addiction with painkillers after a knee operation in 2015.
A drone owner has been charged with starting a forest fire after crashing the drone in Arizona. Due to the crash, a forest fire began in Coconino National Forest in Kendrick park near Flagstaff. The fire destroyed 300 acres of land, with thirty firefighters the fire was contained and extinguished within the day. The smoke from the fire created a large hazard for those driving through the area, increasing the chance of an accident massively.
If guilty, the owner could face a fine, community service or even a jail sentence. A similar event occurred when a homeless man’s cooking fire set the grass alight and destroyed over 282 acres of land. Due to the damage, the man received a fine of $12,000 and a twelve-month jail sentence.
Drones have previously caused problems with the emergency services, they have prevented them from doing their job as it would be dangerous for them to do so.
Over the last three years, a European Parliament has been conducting secret talks with Pyongyang to try and convince North Korea to end its Nuclear Program.
Mr Deva, the leader of the group, said him and the European Parliament Delegation for Relations with the Korean Peninsula had been ‘relentlessly advocating the case for dialogue without preconditions’ to end the standoff with the North. Nirj Deva has met senior North Korean officials, including ministers, fourteen time and there are plans to meet again in Brussels.
Europe is not the only one advancing on ending tensions in North Korea, as last week, Trump accepted an invitation to speak to leader Kim Jong Un. The first significant move came on Thursday when North Korea’s foreign minister was on his way to Sweden for two days of talks. The Swedish counterpart will ‘address the security situation’, the Swedish government represent US interests.
China’s president was ‘delighted’ with the advancements and shared a Chinese proverb; “once hard ice melts, spring comes and flowers bloom.” President Xi Jinping has been supporting South Korean President Moon Jae-in with the efforts to build dialogue and strengthen the relationship.
Japan is more doubting of the talks and said in a meeting on Tuesday with South Korea’s National Intelligence Service Chief and Japanese Prime Minister ,Shinzo Abe, that it was ‘extremely important’ that North Korea ‘takes concrete action which realize their words’ referring to denuclearization.
While we wait for the word of Kim Jong Un, Trump cannot refrain himself from speaking out on social media and to the press, an issue that is often a problem to his allies. His twitter has spilled more than needed, and at times disrupted peace between leaders.

The UK are to expel 23 Russian diplomats after Moscow refused to explain how a Russian-made nerve agent was used on a former spy in Salisbury.
The PM stated that the diplomats have one week to leave and were identified as ‘undeclared intelligence officers.’
The UK told the united nations that the Russians had used a “weapon so horrific that it is banned in war.”
Russia denies all allegations of attempted murder and says they will respond appropriately.
Sergi Skripal, 66 and Yulia Skripal, 33 are in a critical condition after the Russian nerve attack. They were found slumped on a bench near the Maltings shopping centre, Salisbury on 4th March 2018.
A police officer is also critically ill after caring for the two. The officer now remains in hospital, while another is being treated as an outpatient.
The chemical used in the horrific attack has been identified as being part of a group of nerve agents developed in Russia known as ‘Novichok.’
How did it start?
It first started when Yulia Skripal flew to London’s Heathrow Airport on a flight from Russia at about 14:40 GMT on the 3rd March 2018.
Then on the 4th of March, at roughly 13:40 GMT, Mr Skripal and his daughter (Yulia) arrived at the Sainsbury’s upper lever car park in Salisbury city centre.
Police say that the pair went to the Bishop’s Mill pub before going to Zizzi restaurant from 14:20-15:35. Victims of the attack include 38 members of the public who have been treated in hospital, of the 38, 34 have been discharged.
Everyone has been discharged but Mr Skripal, Yulia Skripal and Detective Sgt Bailey remain in hospital with one outpatient being monitored but not showing any signs of exposure.
Monalisa Perez, a mother of two from the USA, has to serve a 180-day jail term for an attempted viral youtube stunt gone wrong. Her boyfriend Pedro Ruiz thought of the stunt to fire a gun at him from a foot away while he held a 1.5-inch thick book which he thought would shield him. However, the bullet pierced through the book fatally injuring Ruiz. She now faces 10 days in prison, 10 days out for 6 months amounting to 90 days in jail. The last 90 days can be served in home confinement.
She has also been banned from owning firearms and can’t make financial gain from the case. The Norman County Attorney James Brue said, “the reality [is] that this foolish stunt was dreamed up, planned and executed by Pedro Ruiz, and the defendant wrongfully and tragically relied on his assurances that the stunt was safe.”
But, this isn’t the first time a YouTuber has done something outrageous for views. A couple of months ago, Logan Paul went into the Japanese suicide forest and took videos of a dead body for all to see.
There was a huge backlash from the internet as many thought that this was disrespectful, he then took down the video.
